Tuning that doesn't kill the host vehicle.
Many tuners reduce fuel delivery as exhaust gas temps rise. But they ignore the powertrain! Banks finds the limits of the engine and powertrain, then adds mission-critical ActiveSafety safeguards to Six-Gun so it won't exceed those limits. As a result, Six-Gun thrashes challengers, not your truck! Airflow upgrades recommended.
Proof of a higher power.
Calibrated for sport applications, Six-Gun is a performance junkie that adds +100 hp/+195 lb-ft. With its CleanTune Technology and change-on-the-fly power, Six-Gun with PowerPDA rockets you from 0-60 mph 20% quicker than stock ... without adding soot!
The commander-in-chief: PowerPDA®.
A portable touch-screen vehicle command center, Banks PowerPDA enables easy control and customization of Six-Gun functions. It punches up Six-Gun's best gains to +140 hp/+230 lb-ft. Adds temp-limiting safety. Displays up to 15 engine parameters. Times performance runs. Reads/defines/clears vehicle codes. Has a docking station with a built-in charger. And offers full PDA functionality.
All gains measured at the rear wheels, with recommended airflow improvements. Please note: Palm Tungsten E2 sold separately.
Test vehicle: 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500, 4WD, crew cab short bed, automatic transmission.

David of Orlando, Florida, installed a Six-Gun Diesel Tuner and PowerPDA Vehicle Command Center on an ’07 Chevy Silverado with a Duramax LBZ turbo-diesel
Down right bad a-- system. I have an ‘07 Chevy Silverado classic with the LBZ motor. At first I purchased the Edge Evolution. "Only one available at the time." Good product; don’t get me wrong. But then I installed the Six Gun with the in-cab Power PDA. At first I thought it felt about the same until I realized there was one more setting called SL. "Oh Hell Ya!" The next comment I would like to use to describe the feeling it gave me is too graphic and unprofessional. "Holy SSSS"—well, you know. Without any doubt, if you are thinking of the Banks System … Thought Over. The choice is easy: Banks. You guys make a kick a--product. Thank you from Sunny Florida.
LBZ tuners from competing manufacturers are put to the test at the NHRA 1/4 mile Auto Club Raceway at Pomona. Same truck, same driver, same day... only the tuner is changed each run. Results for stock: 16.40 sec @ 86.18 mph
“Banks has earned a reputation in the truck world for making world class products.”
